Rotating equipment repairs
KNL provides repairs and overhauls for rotating equipment, specialising in industrial process pumps and mechanical seals. We also have experience in industrial fans, mixers, gearboxes, compressors, and turbines.
Mechanical seal services
the initial cost of a mechanical seal is usually a fraction of the life cycle cost. KNL can recondition any make of mechanical seal back to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, as well as provide technical service reports with recommendations to increase the seal life time between failure. As in to ‘increase the approximate lifetime before failure’ as Initial Mech seal installations can be made to a wide range of applications we can assist to fine tune the correct seal for your application
Onsite maintenance
KNL can assist with planned and unplanned maintenance requirements for rotating equipment. Our on-site service capabilities are a combination of our other specialized services, all performed at the customer's site. KNL can perform mechanical seal changeouts, pump wet end replacements, process equipment installations, pump laser shaft alignments,Vibration Analysis and commissioning, all in a timeframe which meets the demands of operations.
Installation and commissioning
KNL have extensive experience with the installation and commissioning of mechanical process equipment. From the initial construction of a new plant or replacing old for new. KNL can manage the project installation as well as provide technical support during the commissioning phase.
Laser shaft alignments
During the assembly and installation of rotating equipment, five or more alignments may be required before the equipment is ready for operation as per OEM recommendations. Incorrect alignments can lead to shaft, bearing, coupling and mechanical seal failures. KNL can perform laser shaft alignments for process equipment manufacturers, installation contractors or industry end users to ensure the investment is best prepared for service.
Reliability and improvement
